My name is Wellington from Kakamega County. Two months ago, I stumbled on my friend Abiud in Kisumu looking weak and confused. This is a man I went to the same school and college with him in Kakamega County.
We are age mates but unfortunately when I asked him what he does for a living he told me he has never found a job since finishing school in 1999. I couldn’t believe his words but his body language proved him right.
We graduated same year and as I speak, I am a married man and settled with a thriving business in Kisumu town while Abiud is still struggling not even sure of what he is supposed to do next day.
We all wish we could bring fantastic magic into our daily lives, to inspire curiosity, awe, excitement, and joy in the lives of those around us. How enriching it is to craft and create something that improves quality of life, whether because it makes you happier, more rested, wealthier, or just more abundant overall.
