A man suspected of stealing women’s underwear in Kampala , was caught red-handed with 100 pairs of panties, following an unusual method of detection.
The man, identified as Gregory, had long been the subject of suspicion by locals who were baffled by his peculiar habit of stealing only women’s undergarments. His reign of theft ended when residents, frustrated with the lack of progress in the investigation, turned to an unconventional solution—a local witchdoctor.
According to neighbors who spoke to Dun.com, the community, led by their chairman, decided to hire a traditional herbalist, known as Mugwenu Doctors, to help them recover the stolen items. “We were tired of this man causing trouble in our neighborhood,” one resident said. “We couldn’t understand why he was fixated on stealing only underwear.”
