A wealthy married woman from Northern Uganda recently made a startling confession on a popular women’s Facebook group, seeking help and guidance from fellow women.
Her conscience has been haunting her since she succumbed to an illicit affair with her gateman, deployed at her home by a security firm.
“My marriage is blessed with three children, and my husband, 44, is a caring and providing partner,” she wrote. “However, while he was away on a business deal overseas, I found myself drawn to our gateman. I’ve been sleeping with him every night, despite feeling horrible about it. I can’t resist him; he knows how to handle a horny woman.”
Overwhelmed by guilt, she begged fellow women not to judge her harshly, seeking ideas to support herself through this tumultuous time.
The post sparked varied reactions from fellow women. Some advised her to sack the gateman immediately to save her marriage, while others encouraged her to continue enjoying the affair as long as she wasn’t caught.
However, Washiko from Kiambu offered a stern warning, sharing a personal experience. “One day, you’ll get stuck with the watchman while having sex if you don’t stop this behavior. Witchcraft is real, and I know from experience.”
Washiko recounted how her husband had used a witchdoctor to expose her infidelity with their area subchief. “I was caught by a Mpango in a lodging. I won’t advise you to cheat; it’s wrong, and when you’re caught, you’ll understand the weight of cheating.”
