For months now, social media has been buzzing with rumors about Kenzo and girlfriend Nyamutoro. Kenzo also confirmed over the weekend that he is in a romantic relationship with the minister.
However, reports have emerged allegedly pointing to a secret Nikkah ceremony organized by Kenzo and his girlfriend.
It’s said Nyamutoro was initiated into the Muslim religion and even found a new name for herself. She was baptized “Rahuma” at the ceremony.
Capital FM’s Lucky Mbabazi also emphasized that the ceremony took place and the couple is just warming up for a bigger celebration of their relationship.
Eddy Kenzo, born on December 25, 1989, in Masaka, Uganda, is a renowned Ugandan singer, songwriter, and entertainer. His birth name is Edrisa Musuuza. Kenzo’s childhood was marked by challenges, including the loss of his mother at a young age, leading him to live on the streets for a significant period. Despite these hardships, music became his solace and passion.
Kenzo’s musical journey began in the early 2000s when he joined the Big Talent Entertainment, a Ugandan music label, founded by his mentor and fellow artist, Bobi Wine. However, it was his 2010 hit song “Stamina” that catapulted him to national and international fame, earning him numerous accolades and establishing him as a household name in Uganda’s music scene.
Education-wise, Kenzo attended various schools in Uganda, but his formal education was interrupted due to his challenging upbringing and early immersion into the music industry. Despite this, he has often emphasized the importance of education and has been involved in philanthropic efforts to support education in Uganda.

In 2015, Kenzo achieved international recognition when his song “Sitya Loss” went viral on social media, garnering millions of views on YouTube and inspiring the “Sitya Loss” dance challenge, which further propelled his fame globally.
