Musician Moses Ssali, popularly known as Bebe Cool, officially took on a significant responsibility by swearing in as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Uganda National Cultural Centre (UNCC) on April 5, 2024. The newly appointed board boasts an array of diverse talents and expertise, with Prof. Okaka Opio assuming the role of Chairperson, and singer Phina Mugerwa as Vice Chairperson. Other distinguished members include Hannington Bugingo, Lillian Mbabazi, Dr. Richard Komakech, Joseph Mayanja, better known as singer Chameleon, and the aforementioned Moses Ssali, known in the music world as Bebe Cool. Completing the ensemble is Juliana Naumo.
