In a chilling revelation, further details have come to light during the ongoing inquiry into the heart-wrenching murder of Ndiga clan leader Daniel Bbosa, unveiling a sinister plot meticulously devised to end his life.

The investigative process has exposed a serie of connections pointing to Lujja Bbosa Tabula as the mastermind behind Bbosa’s untimely demise, unveiling a deep-seated enmity between the two adversaries. The roots of their bitter feud can be traced back to 2021 when Tabula audaciously proclaimed himself the rightful leader of the Ndiga Clan, an assertion vehemently contested by Bbosa.

The conflict reached its zenith when Tabula’s leadership claim was vehemently rejected by Ndiga clan members at an event in Mbaale-Mawokota, Mpigi district. Despite Tabula’s attempts to secure legitimacy through the Buganda Kingdom parliament, under the leadership of Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga, his claims were summarily dismissed.

Undeterred, Tabula pursued his case through the traditional court of the Buganda Kingdom, known as Kisekwa, ultimately securing a favorable ruling. However, Bbosa challenged the decision, seeking final arbitration from Kabaka Ronald Mwenda Mutebi II.

Recent revelations from police investigations suggest that Tabula, in collaboration with Milly Naluwenda, the clerk of Buganda Kingdom’s Tradition Court, orchestrated the hiring of individuals to carry out Bbosa’s assassination. The fatal attack unfolded on February 25 near Bbosa’s residence in Kampala, where he fell victim to a barrage of gunfire from assailants on a motorcycle.

Despite the swift apprehension of one suspect, Enock Sserunkuma, by vigilant locals, and the cooperative interrogation of Noah Lujja, Tabula remains elusive. Valuable information provided by Lujja has led to the arrest of six additional suspects, including Naluwenda, who allegedly maintained constant communication with the assailants leading up to the murder.

In an earnest pursuit of justice, the police have announced a substantial reward for any credible information leading to the arrest of Tabula. This underscores the commitment to actively seek justice in this case. However, as efforts to apprehend all involved parties intensify, a pressing question emerges concerning the motivations that drove individuals, some associated with Buganda Kingdom institutions, to participate in such a heinous crime.

As the investigation unfolds, the community grapples with the tragic loss of Bbosa, laid to rest at the hallowed Ndiga clan ancestral site in Mpigi district. Eria Luggya Lwasi Buzaabo, the designated successor, steps into a leadership role amidst heightened scrutiny and a resounding call for accountability in the wake of this shocking incident.
