The leader of the Ndiga (sheep) clan, Daniel Bbosa, met a tragic end when assailants on a motorcycle, having registration number UEX 754E, ambushed his car near his residence in Lungujja parish, Lubaga Division, Kampala, around 6 p.m. last Sunday.
In a heinous act, the attackers opened fire on Bbosa’s vehicle, marked with registration number UAH 637X, leading to his immediate demise. Despite the grim situation, a courageous local resident swiftly intervened, toppling the assailants’ motorcycle and alerting the community to the unfolding incident.
This intervention triggered a rapid response from the community members, resulting in a tense confrontation with the assailants. Subsequently, a form of mob justice ensued, leading to the death of one assailant at the scene, while the other is currently in critical condition.
The motive behind this senseless act of violence remains shrouded in mystery, and law enforcement is actively engaged in efforts to identify and apprehend the perpetrators. The police successfully recovered the firearm believed to be used in the murder, along with the motorcycle employed by the assailants during the attack.
