Eddie Yawe is sure that the longstanding disagreements between Bebe Cool and Bobi Wine can find a solution, given the deep-rooted history shared by these iconic musicians. Yawe reminisces about a time when both artists used to share a common bond, even drinking from the same metaphorical pot of camaraderie.

In a recent media interview, Yawe emphasized Bebe Cool’s friendship with Bobi Wine, suggesting that the lack of recent mentions could be attributed to the latter’s silence. Yawe encouraged a simple gesture, stating, “Bobi Wine should seek out Bebe Cool and exchange greetings; after all, they are friends. Acknowledge the attention given to you – meet and reconnect.”

Revealing his longstanding acquaintance with Bebe Cool, Yawe recollected their initial meeting during their school days. He shared an interesting tidbit about Bobi Wine, highlighting the time when Wine used to prepare tea for both Yawe and Cool after their band rehearsals in Dimension 2000, where Cool was a member.

“Bobi Wine used to cook tea for us,” Yawe recalled fondly. He credited the encouragement from Bobi Wine and Bebe Cool for inspiring him to establish Dream Studios in Kamwokya.

Despite having collaborated in the past, Bebe Cool and Bobi Wine have a well-documented history of feuds. Notably, their collaborative effort, “Funtula,” with Jose Chameleone aimed at countering the latter’s actions that irked them, eventually became a major hit produced at Dream Studios by Tony Houls.

However, as time progressed, Bebe Cool reunited with Chameleone, leading to new conflicts with Bobi Wine. These tensions escalated further with the introduction of politics, as Bebe Cool aligned himself with the ruling NRM government, while Bobi Wine ventured into opposition politics by establishing his own political party. The complexities of their relationships, both personal and political, continue to shape the dynamics between these two influential figures in the music industry.
