Uganda National Examinations Board (Uneb) has addressed circulating speculation about the UCE 2023 results release date, following the recent dissemination of the 2023 Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) results by Uneb and the education ministry. While eager anticipation surrounds the release of the Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) results for 2023, the actual date remains undisclosed, prompting discussions on social media.
Despite the completion of the marking and grading process for the UCE 2023 examination papers last month, Uneb has not yet unveiled the results. In a customary manner, the announcement of the UCE 2023 results release date is expected to occur after Uneb officials brief the education minister, First Lady Janet Museveni, mirroring the process observed for PLE results.
The delay in the briefing and subsequent announcement has fueled speculation among the public regarding when the UCE 2023 results will be made public. Uneb, however, has stepped forward to dispel the speculations, asserting that any information circulating about the release date should be disregarded.
In a statement, Uneb clarified, “Please disregard this information as it is not true. The Board will communicate the date for the official release of the 2023 UCE Results.” While the official communication of the release date remains pending, Uneb did not disclose when this information would be made available. Parents, students, and the public are urged to await Uneb’s official announcement for accurate and reliable information on the UCE 2023 results release date.
