Police authorities in Bunga, a suburb of Kampala, are actively pursuing Ogwan Patrick, a security guard affiliated with Saracen Security Guard company, for allegedly shooting three individuals at Nomads bar in Bunga-Soya, Kampala City. Luke Owoyesigire, the deputy spokesperson for Kampala Metropolitan, disclosed that the suspect, currently evading capture, discharged four bullets in the bar, causing injuries to the three customers enjoying their evening.
The victims, identified as Loveone Keyler (24 years old), Aiden Male (23 years old), and Venus (25 years old), are presently undergoing treatment at Notice Medical Center. Owoyesigire explained that the initial investigation revealed the bar manager, upon observing Ogwan’s intoxicated state, advised him to go home and rest. However, Ogwan returned with a firearm, targeting the manager and inadvertently injuring the trio present in the bar.
Efforts are underway to ascertain the whereabouts of the suspect, as law enforcement intensifies the search.
